An atmospheric river has just visited the west coast, leaving much needed rain and snow. Though off to a bumpy start, vaccinations for Covid-19 are becoming available (I am scheduled to receive my first shot this Thursday). Perhaps the biggest news is that tasting rooms are open again!
Starting this Friday, February 5th, we will be serving guests with reservations outdoors on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. In case of rain we will move over to the crush pad. Call for hourly appointments.
We have bottled our first wines from the 2020 vintage: a 2020 Russian River Valley Rose’ of Pinot Noir; and a 2020 Russian River Valley Sauvignon Blanc. The rose’ will be released in the Tasting Room on Valentine’s Day, Sunday February 14th. The Sauvignon Blanc will arrive later this month.
Typically in February we see a few days of balmy weather, with clear skies and temperatures in the 70’s. Check your weather report and if you see such a break in the weather, give us a call and arrange for tasting in our picnic area – the perfect preview for post pandemic life.
Cheers!
