Family owned & operated since 1979
The term “garagistes” originated in Bordeaux in the 1980’s and referred to a group of innovative winemakers who produced exceptional wines in their garages rather than in grand chateaux. Since 1979, we have carried on the garagistes tradition of innovation and excellence in a chateau-alternative locale.
From a backyard Berkeley garage to an old apple processing plant in Sebastopol, California, the family at Taft Street continues in the garagistes traditions to this day, crafting limited production, crowd pleasing wines from select Sonoma County vineyards.

2017 Sauvignon Blanc
A Gold Medal winner at the 2018 Sonoma County Harvest Fair! This Russian River Valley Sauvignon Blanc is refreshingly crisp, the bouquet perfumed with hints of green apple and white peach. A fine mineral edge frames citrus flavors of key-lime and grapefruit, while lively acidity provides a polished, lingering finish.
