That was a year that was

Thank God it’s over! Hopefully in 2021 we’ll see fewer fires and heat waves, less civil and political strife, and a waning of the pandemic. Clearly less is more in 2021.

The cellar and the Tasting Room are closed the week between Christmas and New Year’s. We’ll start bottling the first week of January, starting with our 2020 Russian River Valley Rose of Pinot Noir and our 2020 Russian River Valley Sauvignon Blanc. The Rose will be released on St. Valentine’s Day; the Sauvignon Blanc about the same time. The Tasting Room is currently open for curbside pickup, as we await state guidelines on reopening dates.

Our plan for 2021 is flexibility. Like everyone, we eagerly anticipate the reopening of restaurants, for us a major market for our wines around the country. In the meantime we will concentrate our efforts on our custom crush clients, our direct to consumer program, and our faithful retailers (who have increased sales during these hard times).

We will continue producing outstanding wines from the Russian River Valley and beyond, and will offer a full lineup in the coming year.

We at Taft Street wish all of you the Very Best in 2021. Stay Safe!

Cheers,

Mike Tierney
