The crazy weather continues. An inch of rain in the last week of June is unheard of; 100 degree temperatures over the 4th of July weekend are not. The effect on the vines is varied. In some cases the fruit set was uneven; a number of growers have reported shatter in the clusters; yet quite a few growers say their vines are loaded with fruit. We’ll keep you posted.

Taft Street welcomes Mosha Rastgar to our sales team. Mosha will head up our Southern California direct sales operation. Based in Long Beach, Mosha is an experienced wine professional, and we look forward to his work with us. Our sales team in Northern California is as hot as the weather. June was our best month ever, and Clayton and Diana maintain they are just getting started!
Work has begun on our picnic area expansion. In the weeks ahead we will have a bigger and better area to enjoy our wine. Come join us.
Cheers,
