It was 33 years ago today
The folks at Taft Street began to play
(on the up and up).
Today we are old timers in all the good ways, and we continue making “having fun” our top priority. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TAFT STREET! (NO April Fools’ Day prank.)
It certainly looks and feels like spring around here, with the buds starting to appear and the hills still bright green. There is even a prediction of rain this Easter Sunday weekend. We’ll take whatever rain we can get!
April is another busy travel month for us. Winemaker Evelyn White is off on a fact finding trip to New Zealand, where she will take part in the second of three 2015 harvests! Mike Martini is off to Nashville, where he will work with the people at BooneDocks, our new distributor in Tennessee. I am off to New York to see our old friends at Vision Wine Brands.
When we all get back home the visitor season will begin in earnest. Next Month kicks off our annual Street Music series, we will receive major kudos for our Sauvignon Blanc, and summer weather will be here to stay.
In the meantime, beat the crowds, enjoy our spring time, and stop by for a glass of Taft Street wine.
Cheers,
Mike Tierney
President, Taft Street Winery
