Cyanotype Printmaking Workshop & Wine Tasting
September 26, 2021 @ 11:30 am – 2:30 pm
Join San Francisco artist Tanya Wischerath and the Taft Street team on Sunday 9/26 for an afternoon of printmaking and wine tasting! Cyanotype or “sun printing” is a unique photographic printing technique used by artists, botanists, and architects for almost 200 years to create stunning prints using the light of the sun.
Fee includes all supplies, instruction and guidance, and a curated flight of Taft Street wines to enjoy along the way.
For tickets and info, please visit: /www.eventbrite.com/e/cyanotype-workshop-at-taft-street-winery-tickets-166458884003
This workshop is limited to 12 people so everyone will get ample personal attention and assistance, and at the end of the class you will have several finished cyanotypes to take home with you.
About the artist: Tanya is a native San Franciscan who loves wine to only a slightly lesser degree than she loves art. She will happily converse at great lengths about the parallels between picture composition and the structure of a Pinot Noir. Trained in the classic Atelier method in Florence, Italy, her primary focus is figurative painting in oils, though she does a great deal of printmaking and alternative photography process. www.tanyawischerath.com
